Tammy Young Recieves Coryell County Employee of the Quarter Award

Congratulations to Tammy Young for receiving the Coryell County Employee of the Quarter Award.  Tammy is SHP's nurse at the Coryell County Jail.  The receipient of the Employee of the Quarter award is selected by the employee's at the Coryell County Sheriff's Office.  Tammy's win was nearly unanimous.  Sheriff Johnny Burks said, "Tammy has been here for such a sort time, but is very well liked by our staff.  Even though she is really not a county employee, she has been a nice addition to the office."  Tammy is pictured below accepting her award from Sheriff Burks.  

TJA and Southern Health Partners Host Blood Drive to Secure Blood for Law Enforcement in Texas

Generous donors helped to make the 1st annual TJA and Southern Health Partners Blood Drive a success.  The drive was conducted at the annual TJA Conference.  Twenty conference goers donated to the drive and enough blood was collected to help save the lives of 36 people.  All blood collected gave blood donation credits specifically for law enforcement personnel; ensuring blood is available when needed.

8th Annual SHP "Big Un" Bass Tournament

Special thanks to all who came out and fished in the 2013 SHP "Big Un" Bass Tournement. For the past 8 years we've had a great time with everyone that's been able make the journey to the tournament. We hope to see all the old faces and some new ones next year!
